How to: Insert a graphic image on a fax cover page.
Solution:
Open the 'Cover Page Editor' and select 'Object' from the 'Insert' menu. Select an existing file or create a new object file.
1) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
2) Select 'Programs' and select 'Accessories'.
3) Select 'Fax'.
NOTE: If 'Microsoft Fax' is not present on the menu, use 'Add/Remove Programs' in 'Control Panel' to add this program from the original Windows 95 installation diskettes or CD-ROM.
4) Select 'Cover Page Editor'. (The Cover Page Editor appears.)
5) Select the 'File' menu and select 'Open...'. (The 'Open' dialog box appears.)
6) In the 'Look in' drop-down list box, select the drive where the cover sheet is located.
7) Select the appropriate folder and click 'Open'.
8) Select the cover sheet and click 'Open'.
9) Select the 'Insert' menu and select 'Object...'. (The 'Insert Object' dialog box appears.)
10) Do one of the following:
a) Create a new object:
1] Select the 'Create New' radio button, select the type of object to create, and click 'OK'. (The application associated with the object will open.)
2] Create the object.
3] Save the object.
b) Use an existing file:
1] Select the 'Create from File' radio button.
2] Type the filename and path in the 'File' box or click 'Browse...' to locate the file.
3] (Optional) Select the 'Link' check box to link the object in the cover sheet to its original.
4] (Optional) Select the 'Display As Icon' check box to display the file as an icon on the cover page.
5] Click 'OK'.
11) When finished select the 'File' menu and select 'Save'.
